Plates and platters

The plates with the ridged rim are thrown in stoneware clay, with a moulded foot; usually with a diameter of around 28cm.  I do have a few bisqued and waiting for decoration.

Others are made from porcelain using a slump and hump mould.

I generally do these as requests, but do have a few in stock just now that I made to please myself... please contact me jo@redwingceramics.co.uk if you would like to discuss a bespoke plate.  I enjoy doing portraits; all I need is a reasonable photo to work from (on the understanding that the end product will be my interpretation and not a direct reproduction).
