Welcome, I am Jo Brass, and everything Redwing Ceramics is thoughtfully and lovingly handmade by me - a real live person - from porcelain and stoneware clay, in sometimes-sunny, often-damp, rural West Berkshire. My perfectly imperfect mugs, bowls, plates and other objects are crafted as one-offs, making each a piece of functional ceramic art. My making process is inherently and deliberately slow, meaning there is limited work available. I hope each object finds a home with a person who will find joy in using it every day.
The shop is updated when I have new work, and shop restocks are announced on Instagram, and via my newsletter. Occasionally I may add an item or two without making an announcement; it will be near the top of the "New" page (from main menu).
